Understanding the Word of the Lord for 2014

I recently posted this word to Facebook:

This is what I heard from the Lord for 2014, and you can apply any which way you'd like to do so, but I am sure most will simply reject it because it's not very flowery or encouraging, but I have to be honest about what the Spirit has spoken to me, and it's birthing within me a sense of spiritual urgency toward sobriety of spirit, prayerfulness, and the fear of the Lord.

"The chickens are coming home to roost. Thus saith the Lord".

There may be other more uplifting prophetic words through other servants of the Lord, but this is what He is speaking to me, and in no way am I exempt, but this is the word He has clearly given me for His people, and for our Nation as a whole.  No embellishment or qualifying it. That's it. Simple as that.

This word was followed by about a handful of "likes", and a few comments, with one response going more in depth with a dear sister's own personal understanding of the word.    For the past few days, I felt I was to remain silent on it and God put a lock on my lips.  But now I believe I should share more in-depth as the Lord has been building upon this in my spirit.

First of all, for those who are either disappointed or disturbed in any way that I would say something so 'negative' at the start of a New Year, I understand your concerns, but I stand by this as the word of the Lord.  In no way is this a condemnation OR a denial of any sort to the many words of blessings or encouragement that are coming forth also at this time.

It is simply another aspect of the nature of God, and if He didn't put it strongly into my heart to speak it forth, I would have dismissed it as a thought of my own mind, especially at a time meant for more uplifting declarations.

When God spoke this to my heart, "the chickens are coming home to roost", I was not even quite sure what it meant, so I had to google the phrase.  It does have to do with the laws of sowing and reaping.

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.  Galatians 6:7-9.  Galatians 6:7-9.

There are many who believe that when one becomes saved, or repents, any "fallout" from sin is automatically cancelled.  But notice that the Apostle Paul spoke these words to the churches in Galatia.  He spoke it to believers.  This word regarding sowing and reaping came after the fact of Calvary.

We need to understand this fact:  That just because you reap something you've sowed doesn't mean that you are NOT forgiven!   You can be 100 percent forgiven by God, 100% on your way to heaven, 100% enjoying fellowship with your heavenly Father, and yet you still might reap something you've sown in a negative way.  The laws of sowing and reaping don't cancel out the laws of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus, and vice versa.   In the midst of a harvest you are reaping that you might wish you had never sown, you can still feel His touch on your life.  You can still feel His mercy and His grace and His lovingkindness.

You might read this, and report back to me that when you repented of a sin in your life, God DID cancel the laws of sowing and reaping.  He did NOT allow that negative harvest to spring forth.  What seemed like it might have been a hearty perennial turned out to be a fragile "annual", and it only lasted a short season, and was GONE.  Praises to His Name!!!  That was an act of the sovereignty of God on your behalf every bit as much as the dial on the sun going backward on the behalf of King Hezekiah.  (See 2 Kings 20:10-12)

And have you ever considered how someone who does everything (to all outward appearances) RIGHT...seeks God, walks "the walk", shows mercy and grace  to others, never has a unkind word about or toward another soul, guards their tongue against gossip or speaking any evil,  and yet their light is fraught with difficulty and lack and hardship, while someone who lives like the devil gets everything they want and even more??? (Psalm 37:35)

So, here we have this law of "sowing and reaping", this idea of the "chickens coming home to roost" and then we have clear indications of how God will break his own law to show mercy, so why would the Lord  give a word that says "the chickens are coming home to roost?"  when we all know that aspect of His nature inclined to grace?  It almost seems like such a word is an affront to His grace, and I can understand why some would be offended by it.  But it is the word of the Lord....

Because we, as a society, have reached unprecedented levels in mocking God.  As a believer, you may be very sensitive, and desire never to do this, and you may guard against mocking God everyday of your life.  But we live at this time in a culture that delights in it, exults in it, and has it now as the bread of their existence.

So, then why is this word for Christians at all?  Why not just say the world is gonna get now from God exactly what it deserves for mocking Him?  Why implicate the believer at all?

Now, this is where you're going to have to be sharp and forward- thinking in your "kingdom" understanding.  The Bible is very clear that there is coming a day when the saints who have been willing to suffer with Him will rule and reign with Him.   See Revelation 3:21, and 5:9-11.   Part of that rulership is going to be the spiritual authority to level consequences against wickedness, lawlessness, disobedience, etc in our society.

You may envision in your mind a day when Jesus sets up His kingdom in Jerusalem and  saints are in power ruling from courts that are full of His glory with those who have been the Overcomers in dignified attire coming and going with scrolls in their hands bearing  edicts from the King.  And maybe someday it will look exactly like that!

But, what we are going to see in fullness, we are now appropriating in spirit, and we are learning to "rule and reign" with Him in the kingdom that comes "without observation".  We are learning to use the authority given to us in the Name of Jesus, and as the word of the Lord is being tried in a fire heated seven times, those pure words of the Lord, those refined words of the Lord are doing a deeper work in our hearts and lives, little by little we are possessing the kingdom that is being  given to the saints of the most High God!!!

God will never build His kingdom on hypocrisy.  It's the one thing Jesus clearly hated in the scripture.  He had all sorts of mercy for those who were struggling with weaknesses in their flesh.  He showed mercy to the woman caught in the very act of adultery.  He showed mercy to the woman at the well who had lived a very compromised life in and out of several marriages.   He showed mercy to Zaccheus, a local tax-collecting shyster, and even visited his house.  But the hypocrites, he openly rebuked.

The authority God is giving to His sons is going to be an authority legitimately
possessed.  People wonder why God doesn't do something about some of the things going on in our world today that are so contrary to what we believe the heart of God is for creation.

At any time God is quite capable of stepping into the limelight of His role as Supreme Authority of all of Creation, and putting a stop to every ill and unjustice in our world.  At the snap of a finger, He's able to bring repentance, change hearts, obliterate sickness, disease, suffering and lack.  But what if instead, He has chosen to do ALL OF THESE THINGS through His Bride, His Church, His Overcomers, His Sons?   Is God going to release this kind of world-shaking, world-changing authority to those who have not truly partaken of His Divine Nature?  Is God going to release His power into the hands of hypocrites?

When you recognize the divine right of God to be sovereign and to enact His disciplines into your own life at His own discretion, you are meekly coming into compliance with kingdom law that empowers you to be His emissary doing His bidding with the authority of full sonship.  You cannot be looking upon another and concluding that God has to treat you and deal with you, as He has dealt with them!  You cannot conclude that God is not fair!

There was a point in time when John wanted to call fire down from heaven against those who had openly rejected Jesus.   Jesus told him he didn't know what spirit he was of.  By the time he was the last supper, do you think he had a different nature as he lay his head  on Jesus breast?  Did John become a partaker of the divine nature? See Luke 9:53-55, and John 13:25

Is this a message of striving? of keeping laws? of striving to obey God from our very weak and faultly flesh?

No, it is not.  It is a call to submit to the author and finisher of your faith, recognizing Jesus, the captain of your salvation made perfect through sufferings! See Hebrews 2:10.

God will do the work!  God will put you in exactly the "furnace of affliction" you need to cause anything unbecoming in your nature to rise to the surface so the skimmer of the Holy Spirit can take it way.  You can't make up the dealing of the Lord tailored for the person you are.  And as you submit to Him, He will give you the grace to see the process through.

But if you keep denying His right to your heart, and His right to work in your life for a flimsy message that tells you that you are perfect just as you are because you are saved,  you are lacking in understanding of the fullness of His work.  If by your born again experience alone,  you don't need anything more of the works of God wrought upon your soul, then why did God give the 5 fold ministry to the church, and the gifts of the Holy Spirit to bring us unto the fullness of the complete and mature man?  See Ephesians 4:11-13  And why as "lively stones" are we being "built up together" to form a habitation for our God?  See 1 Peter 4:2-6  And why does Jesus call us His "workmanship", if we don't need any more "work" done in our lives?  See Ephesians 2:9-11.  (Note: It's about HIS work within us, not our own works!)

Yes, you're very much His purchased possession, but not His perfected possession!  Your salvation, baptism, infilling of the Holy Ghost is only the EARNEST of your inheritance, not the fullness of it!  Your "born again" experience is something you can testify to, giving the very day and time it happened.  But, the "saving of your soul" is an ongoing work in your life, and what God does will manifest thoroughly through every  fiber of your being, and not just be some thing you possess judicially, but it will be something you walk in experientially.   The mystics would have you believe that simply by soulish ascent to something you're in a spiritual utopia where you are all you ever need to be.

The meat and drink of the gospel of Jesus Christ and the everlasting gospel of the kingdom is a message where the kingdom suffereth violence, the violent take it by force, and you are truly being CHANGED into His image  from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.  And where is the glory beheld?  The glory manifests in the fires!

Jesus hated hypocrisy, and He will not put His power in the hands of hypocrites. A hypocrite is one acting like he has something or is something  when he has nothing at all, and is nothing at all.  God's authority will not be weilded in the hands of illegitimates, but only through true sons and daughters of God!

God means for you, as a servant of the Lord, and a son of God to be able to exercise authority over powers of darkness even to the point that you can speak forth consequences if they refuse to obey you.  But, before you come into this kind of authority and power, you're going to experience being "tried" by the word of the Lord.

7 He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant:
18 Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron:
19 Until the time that his word came: the word of the Lord tried him.
20 The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free.
21 He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance:
22 To bind his princes at his pleasure; and teach his senators wisdom.  Psalm 105:7-22.

For the world that has gone mad mocking God, the "chickens coming home to roost" is an absolute promise from God that He will reveal Himself for exactly who He is, and there will be no trifling with Him.  Read Isaiah 13.

For the blood-bought church of Jesus Christ, "the chickens coming home to roost" is an earnest plea from the Spirit of God to recognize God's authority to do exactly as He wills, and never to live your life believing you should be exempt from walking your life softly before Him, upright in your heart, living to please Him, having Psalm 15 and Psalm 24 and Micah 6:8 as "guide words" for your life.   While always hoping in His mercy and a nullification of the sentences ordered, recognizing that God has the right as God to bring into your life any and every consequence that will prepare your heart to be perfect before Him so that in that day when you come into the fullness of your calling as a king and a priest in Zion, you can do it in all legitimately possessed authority, not as a hypocrite, but as a chastened, disciplined son of God!!!

Dearest Saints, walk softly in 2014!  You are being prepared for GREAT and MIGHTY and NOBLE things as the Spirit of the Lord unleashes within His body the authority to address some of the most serious issues with diabolical spiritual roots but this authority is coming to a sober church, a vigilant church, a watchful church, a sanctified church, a committed church, a church that loves Jesus enough to say, "I'm willing Lord", and if you're fearful of the willingness, then pray God gives you a willing heart.

Heavenly Father in the Name of Jesus,  even now we pray even as that man with the dumb, lunatick son prayed, "Lord, I believe, help thou my unbelief",  we pray from our hearts, Lord, I want to be willing, help my unwillingness!"  In Jesus Name, Amen and Amen.

Always in the Love of Jesus,

Clo DiPilato

Psalm 110:2-4

King James Version (KJV)
The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.
Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.
The Lord hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.
